ARRIVAL & PAPERWORK
When you first arrive at Ethos Chiropractic, you are greeted and given an application if you have not already filled out the one texted to you. Filling out the application usually takes 15-20 minutes.
Cancellation policy:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your 1st or 2nd appointment you must do so 24 hours (1 business day) in advance to avoid being charged for the appointment. All other appointments are incredibly flexible.
CONSULTATION
After your application is complete, you will sit down with a team member for a one-on-one healthcare consult. We will talk about your current issues, past health concerns, goals for recovery, and other personal history concerns so we can provide you the very best care. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and learn more about our office, your health, and Chiropractic care.
ASSESSMENTS
We utilize the most up to date and reliable technology in the field to evaluate the location and severity of stress and nerve interference present. Our goal is to discover the root cause of any dysfunction within your body, so we can provide the best possible care you need and deserve.
CHIROPRACTIC POSTURAL X-RAYS
While not always necessary, your final step in your initial office visit is to take digital x-rays. Conveniently located in our office, our x-ray setup is safe, professional, and cost-effective. X-rays allow the Doctors to get an accurate assessment of your spine and problem areas. X-rays are not included in the price of your first evaluation, if necessary they will be an additional $80. “To see is to know, and to not see is to guess!”
As a team, the Doctors will analyze your films, health history, and exam findings to create a specific care plan for you to reach your health goals. This care plan as well as the findings on your x-ray analysis will be discussed in detail at your next appointment.
SECOND APPOINTMENT
Doctor’s Report
Following your first appointment is the Doctor’s Report (your 2nd appointment). During this appointment, one of the Doctors will share more information on Chiropractic, health, and expectations of care. Following this, we will review findings from your assessment and x-rays, and discuss your individualized care plan.
PLEASE NOTE:
At Ethos Chiropractic we only adjust individuals who are committed to a care plan as a single adjustment does not correct any underlying structural issues. If you are looking for a ‘quick fix’ / single adjustment please call for a referral.
Your First Adjustment!
After your Doctor’s Report you will have the opportunity to receive your first specific Chiropractic adjustment. Chiropractic adjustments at Ethos are gentle, precise, and benefit newborns, seniors, and everyone in between!
We utilize instrument adjusting in our Chiropractic technique. To learn more about our technique, check out the tab labeled “Our Technique” on our website.
You will not receive an adjustment at your first appointment as we do not do guess work. Instead we take the time to analyze your case with the other Doctors to come up with the best plan of action for you.
